Our Staff

We believe OGA teachers and staff should be both exceptional people and professionals. When interviewing candidates, we ask ourselves whether or not we’d like them to be teaching our own children (as it’s quite possible they may be doing so). We look for highly qualified individuals who are caring, loving, nurturing, and likeable.

Oak Grove Academy teachers hail from all over the globe (the Americas, Asia, Africa and Western Europe), and well over half of our staff have Masters or Bachelor’s Degrees.  All are CPR and First Aid Certified, and earn twenty units of continuing education credit in Early Childhood Development, each and every year (doubling the state requirement of ten).

The average tenure of our lead teachers is well over seven years, and in total, the average tenure at Oak Grove Academy is five and a half years. Some teachers have been with us for twenty years!
